HNTB  (2013 – July)  Austin, Texas

Performed project management and construction oversight of infrastructure projects for the Texas GLO Community Development and Revitalization Program. Provided guidance and direction for approximately 2,500 projects in Texas for the $1.5 billion in HUD DR-CDBG funding that was allocated for infrastructure in response to damages associated with Hurricane Ike and Dolly. Oversaw agency coordination, environmental compliance, engineering design, construction, and grant closeout. Performed extensive state and federal agency coordination, stakeholder engagement, comprehensive review, and preparation of environmental review documentation in accordance with HUD’s NEPA process.

Project Manager responsible for design and construction oversight of the Rollover Recreational Area on Bolivar Peninsula. The project consists of a bay side park, gulf side pier, and associated amenities. These amenities will mitigate the loss of fishing recreational opportunities after Rollover Pass is closed. Once completed, the pier will be one of the longest along the Gulf of Mexico.
